The child's program of the skiing schools with flare walking and traditional entertainment for families in the local pubs, are just a few of the examples of how hospitable Rauris welcomes its guests. Rauris guarantees a colorful, active, enjoyable but most of all beautiful winterly holdiday.

 

 

For families the skiing area is ideal. Small but superior, not over filled and convenient laid out. Worthwhile for every winter sports vacationer who wants more than just skiing. In the valley of Rauris you can enjoy the winter in all its aspects.

Our three skiing schools offer children ski courses, a real adventure for the kids but also the adults. Besides Skiing or snowboarding courses, with a competition at the end of the week, there are also a great number of extra activities organized for the kids at daily basis. The skiing schools in alliance with tourist office offer an assorted activity programm for the whole family.

On top of all the activities, families become reduced prices at the box office of the Hochalmbahnen. And when the parents want to go out alone for a while, during the day or night, childcare is available.

friendly Easter
During Easter time from the 15th of March to the 30th of March each parent can take one child until the age of ten (1998) for free on their lift pass.

Childcare
When your child is on a skiing course the afternoon break can be booked including child care. When the parents want to go out alone for a while, days or evenings, child care is available.

The babysitter Mrs. Hannelore Gerstgraser is a caring, professional and loving woman with a enormous amount of experience. She takes care of the kids for €4 per hour and child. The hours are flexible, children of all ages are welcome and there's a large garden available. When the weather allows she will take them out for a walk in the Rauriser nature.
